Jordan Modell

Chairman / President

Jordan is founder of Porchfest Asbury Park – an annual local music fest which has attracted over 2,000 people on a yearly basis. He is the lead on NextDoor.com and a member of the AP Parking Committee (please do not hold that against him ;). Jordan has an MBA from NYU where he taught for 4 years. He founded New Jersey’s first, new, full-service Credit Union in 50 years – serving New Brunswick’s under-served community. He has enjoyed a five-year stint running analytics for ad agencies, and has owned SIM Consulting for the last 13 years.

Dominic Latorraca

Treasurer

Currently retired, Dominic has over 30 years of experience as a teacher and administrator in higher education. Most recently, he served as Director of Workforce Development at Brookdale Community College.

In addition, Dominic and his wife started a small retail business in Asbury Park in 2015, which was recently sold. He served as a member of the Asbury Park School Board from 2016-2022. He also served seven years as a board member of the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. Dominic and his wife are members of Trinity Episcopal Church in Asbury Park, where he previously served on the Vestry.

Frederique Dupont

Vice President

Fred is our resident meeting planner and travel expert. Having owned her company Blue Time for over 25 years. Fred enjoys all Asbury Park has to offer from the beaches to the amazing restaurants.

Leslie Ferrier

Secretary

Leslie Ferrier’s career started with Hilton Hotels Corporation after being recruited from Johnson & Wales University. She held HR leadership positions across various Hilton Hotels and Loews Corporation properties, including significant roles in opening new hotels. Leslie expanded her expertise as Corporate Director of HR for Linens n Things, and VP of HR for ABC Carpet & Home and Aerosoles, before founding the HR department for TxVia, later sold to Google. She significantly impacted Atlantic Coast Media Group and Le Pain Quotidien, managing extensive employee networks and contributing to business growth. Leslie has been recognized in the hospitality industry, speaking at prestigious universities and serving on numerous boards, including the Hospitality Alliance of NYC and Rutgers University’s HR Advisory Board. As VP of HR for Momofuku, she oversaw HR for its diverse entities and contributed to the opening of new locations. At VEG, she led HR through rapid expansion, and as BUYK’s first CPO, she spearheaded HR development. Leslie now consults in HR nationwide and lives in Asbury Park, NJ, with her family and rescue animals.
