State Senator Vin Gopal will join us and speak about recent legislative actions and the issues that are currently being considered. Be sure to bring your questions.
In addition, we will hold a candidates’ forum for those running for school board this November. Four candidates are running for 3 open positions. Scott Barnett, Cary Dym, Takiya Foster, and John Walker are the candidates. Each will be allowed time to introduce themselves and provide a summary of what they would like to accomplish. The majority of the time will be for questions to the candidates from those in attendance. The school board is dealing with critical issues that directly affect our children and impact our entire community.
