DESCRIPTION:Asbury Park Homeowners Association Meeting\nAsbury Park Library / October 1\, 2026 6:00pm to 8:00pm\nState Senator Vin Gopal will join us and speak about recent legislative actions and the issues that are currently being considered.  Be sure to bring your questions. \nIn addition\, we will hold a candidates’ forum for those running for school board this November.  Four candidates are running for 3 open positions.   Scott Barnett\, Cary Dym\, Takiya Foster\, and John Walker are the candidates.  Each will be allowed time to introduce themselves and provide a summary of what they would like to accomplish. The majority of the time will be for questions to the candidates from those in attendance.  The school board is dealing with critical issues that directly affect our children and impact our entire community.

DESCRIPTION:Asbury Park Homeowners meeting\nOctober 8 we will hold a candidates’ forum for Mayor and City Council at the AP Library at 6:00 pm. Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn and Dan Sciannameo are running for Mayor. For the one open City Council seat\, Angela Ahbez-Anderson is running for re-election and is challenged by Al DiGiulio and Garrett Giberson. We will have a similar format with reserved time for each candidate to introduce themselves and conclude with a summary of what they hope to accomplish. Those in attendance will be allowed to ask questions of the candidates.
